The West Mountain Inn is in such a beautiful location with 150 acres. If you are visiting in winter make sure to bring your SUV because the hill up to the inn is quite the climb. The rooms are very nice and have the amenities needed (the bathroom has been redone since the last time I was here was a huge plus). My family had Breakfast and Dinner everyday and it was always so delicious, I wish I was able to order everything on the menu. They don't serve lunch but snacks usually find their way out to the bar area starting in the afternoon. Chilli on Christmas day was amazing!! The hiking and activities were a lot of fun. Maybe a little more trail signs especially in the winter season and with freshly fallen snow that would be greatly appreciated. Sledding was a blast too!! The service was amazing and felt like family. Shout out to our server at dinner the past three nights, Paul, for doing such an amazing job! We will definitely be back to this great establishment. Beautiful, peaceful location. Went to an awesome wedding here and stayed in one of the cute cottages. Oh-there are alpacas!!!!!
Absolutely spectacular! Quaint, historic and filled with new England charm! The food was out of this world amazing!! The entire staff was warm and welcoming!!
We stayed for two nights. The inn was very accommodating of our vegan diet and the chef made a special dinner for us. The ground around the inn are beautiful and we enjoyed walking the trails and feeding the resident llamas.
We come here every year for a family event. The in is beautiful and staff is always gracious. The vibe is exactly what you're looking for if you're looking to book an old Vermont inn. All the rooms are great and unique with a ton of character. The alpaca farm and meditation garden are a great plus too. Highly recommended by me and my large family. Return customers for 5+years :)
