My husband and I stopped at Chauncey's one day a couple of years ago and we just loved it, the restaurant, the owners the food, perfect! We keep coming here from NY every week, sometimes twice, we love the food and the atmosphere. So clean and quaint. We are so glad we live only an hour away. The trip is gorgeous also. Good breakfast, quaint decor, and Lucille is a hoot! She let us take a picture of her next to the Norman Rockwell painting she posed for as a teen. Recommend stopping for the atmosphere and staying for the food.
Awesome food and a great menu. Super great steak fries and homemade pickles. Awesome sandwiches. Sue knows how to take care of patrons. Chef asked me how I liked the sandwich. It was great!
Extremely good pancakes! I love how they have the Vermont Maple Syrup. The breakfast is one of the best that I have ever had. The staff is very friendly and nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in this area.
A great little local diner; food was solid, service was good but our food took a while to come out. Decor is Vermont country kitsch. A nice bird feeder right outside the window and a gas fireplace complete the cozy ambiance. Good beer selection. Popular with the locals. You can't go wrong here if you are in Arlington and need to grab lunch.
